Everything went great! Pick up, set up and drop off!

2017 Kz-rv Escape

Review:

Wonderful! The RV was great and Sonny was great to deal with. Tons of sleeping room, just enough amenities to make camping nice but not overly fancy. Loved the use of a heater. The pop out beds have thinner mattresses. This isn’t something to improve, but if you want a cushier sleeping arrangement, bring a pad to put on them or sleep on the couch / table setup.

The interior has some wear and tear, but is functional. The engine runs great and the vehicle drives well. Overall, this is a great value for your money, and Alina is very responsive to requests and communications. She is also awesome with allowing pretty much any reasonable pickup and drop off times so you can get the most out of your rental period. Hassle free pick up and return. If I need to rent another RV, I'll be back!

Troy (the owner) was great to deal with and supplied all the cleaning and cooking materials that you might need for a trip. Good communication and was very friendly when picking up and dropping off the RV. He did a thorough walkthrough with me that made me very comfortable to take the RV. I would recommend this RV to anyone that has a large family as it has an additional bunk bed along with additional sleeping for a large family or group.

Excellent experience. The RV drives well and is really comfortable. We had 3 adults and 2 kids under 4 years old and it was totally adequate for that. The gas grill they have in the RV rocks and it had plenty of chairs and bedding and things like that. Stephanie was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating of my insane travel schedule.

We had a really good experience with Marv's tent trailer. Marv is one of those helpful individuals who can't do enough for you, and it was great for us as first time trailer haulers. Because we were first-timers, we had Marv deliver the trailer to our home so that we didn't have to negotiate Portland traffic with our first few miles of travel towing. He also demonstrated the complete set-up process at our home, pointing out the little details that would ensure success and protect the trailer. He also demonstrated the take-down process which was equally helpful and informative. Afterwards, he and his daughter wrote down the key steps in the order that we needed to follow to get everything right! And, it worked great. We were able to disconnect, level, and set up the trailer with relative ease and no snafus after we reached the campground. The trailer towed very easily with our Toyota Highlander. I did know it was behind me, of course, but it did not noticeably slow us down going uphill, although it did impact our usual gas mileage. Not bad though. The trailer was tall enough that it was difficult for me to see right behind the trailer while towing, and that was a little uncomfortable, but the side mirrors were adequate to see what was going on in the adjacent lanes. Overall, towing this trailer was a lot easier and less stressful than I had expected. We did have a minor problem with the battery, and that was mostly because I did not fully comprehend Marv's instructions. I managed to drain the trailer's battery by running the refrigerator with the 12 volt system turned on, after I had disconnected the plug from the towing vehicle. I still don't fully understand why, but this resulted in a dead battery which would not power the heater system. This was a minor inconvenience for us, and by re-attaching the power cord and running the towing vehicle we were able to recharge the battery enough to get heat the following night and morning which was pretty chilly up in the mountains. The inside of the trailer was plenty roomy for the 2 of us, and the king size beds were pretty good for camping beds.

we COULD NOT POSSIBLY give Christine and her family I higher rating!!! They were INCREDIBLY helpful - both before we came and while we were there. She provided absolutely everything we needed and took SUCH great care of us!!! I can't possibly imagine anyone else being better at this - you should absolutely rent from them. The RV (We named him Harvey) was perfect - even for my family of 6 - including 4 teenager and me and my husband. Greatest rental experience ever (especially after our first two folks that we tried to rent from canceled on us!!!) Thank you Christine for the amazing experience - we are so grateful!!!

Upon pick up, outside of trailer was filthy. It was dusk and inside lights did not work (dead battery) so couldn't see inside well enough to access but my feet stuck to the floor from a soda that exploded and never was cleaned up. Owner mopped floor. When I got home with trailer, the next morning started to load it and realized it was never cleaned inside. Soda was everywhere on table & bench seating and floors were still sticky. The fridge was dirty and the toilet was dirty along with urine on floor below toilet. It was gross. The tool to wind the jacks was missing so I could not stabilize unit. Bedding in bunk area not cleaned and guests complained of it smelling. Owner's wife shared that husband did not clean the unit after they had returned home. She came and cleaned unit prior to our departure. There were broken important parts on unit. Black tank handle missing, front door outside lock missing so door can't be held open. Owner explained the unit stocked with dishes but our first morning camping we had hot coffee but no coffee cups and had to buy them at gift shop. We returned the unit cleaner than we received it even after wife cleaned it and I washed off outside of trailer because it's the right thing to do. The owner was non responsive to text after wife cleaned unit. I had to contact RVshare to find out why my deposit had not been released. Our opinion, the owner is clueless as to how to care and maintain his trailer and he's in it just to get some $$ not to ensure the renter has a good experience.
