2000 Gulfstream Sunsport 8347

Review:

The experience was great. The owner made sure I understand how the RV works, including taking me on a test drive. I didn’t need to, but I could have texted the owner at any time if I had an issue. My mid-70’s parents slept comfortably multiple nights on the sleeper sofa. The RV included a coffee maker, slow cooker, dishes, flatware, knives, pots, pans, and other cooking accessories. Also, it had sheets and pillows for the main bed, as well as towels available to use.

2009 Forest River Rockwood Roo
$159
Review:

The Rockwood Roo was the perfect choice for our long weekend trip with two other couples. The beds were comfortable and their sizes were pretty decent. Though the camper is older it was well maintained and its size made it easy to tow with a 3/4 ton truck. The owner, Adam was very responsive when we had questions throughout the process. We also rented a generator, and he walked us through how to use it as well as the features of the camper. He even loaned us his hitch so that we didn't need to worry about finding one for our trip. A few notes about this camper: The air conditioning worked very well, even in 100° heat while set at medium cool and at medium strength. The dining table bed option would work best for those whose height is 5' 5" or less. I was able to stretch out completely (I'm 5' 5" tall) but would not have been able to point my toes unless I lay diagonally with my feet off of the edge. The couch bed is the same length as the dining bed, but part of one end is in open space. A taller person could sleep partially diagonally and allow their feet to hang over the end if needed. The bathroom is small but usable. We were glad that we didn't need the shower because it looked to be pretty tight. The kitchen is small but the gas stove has 3 burners that work very well. There are some essential items provided such as basic cooking utensils, a small electric coffee maker, soap, hand towels, toilet paper, and paper towels to name a few. The awning is a little worn, and finicky to get open and closed but is a very nice feature. There's a small grill and table that attach to the outside of the camper that come in very handy on hot days when you don't want to cook inside. There are a few small storage areas in the camper that come in handy. We were able to keep our food and a small amount of our gear inside the camper, which worked out well for us. Though we didn't use them, there are outdoor speakers attached to a radio as well as a television with a dvd player. I'm not sure whether it was user error, but we weren't able to get the refrigerator to get very cool. I let Adam know, and he is looking into it. We would definitely rent this camper from Adam again. We had a great experience from start to finish.

This was our first rental and I couldn’t have been easier Rick and his wife are very nice and helpful it made the rental very stress free he even let me use his hitch and sway bars. The camper pulls very easy with a half ton pick up. I pulled it using a 2017 tundra crew max I highly recommend Rick and the camper.

Review:

If you are wondering if these reviews are written by friends, I can tell you that I found this RV direct through RV share and was a complete stranger to Brent and Pam. I now feel like I have great new friends in the RV world. Brent and Pam were incredible hosts for our first RV experience and the RV was great - hotel clean, home-like comfortable and easy to get acclimated to for first time RVers/big-rig drivers. What I liked the most was that on our very first call, Brent took the time to go over our route and frankly saved us from some rookie mistakes - particularly thinking that we could cover the same distance in an RV that we would in a normal car. We completely changed our plan and my entire crew was thankful that he had provided that insight. He also helped us plan our driving route to avoid areas that would be uncomfortable for first time drivers. Brent will tell you that all you need to bring are your clothes and groceries, and he is right. They have provided everything you need to turn an first-time adventure into a new love. I would absolutely rent from them again and would direct any friends to them for their first experiences.

After two failed bookings because the owners didn't get back to me in the 72 hrs, I found Donnie and the Crossroads available. Thank god! From the initial booking, to communication, pickup and delivery, this was an excellent experience. I will be renting this rv again. Tows great, it's clean, easy to setup and tear down. It literally took me ten minutes.

2007 Four Winds Windsport

Review:

This was our first RV rental experience which was to celebrate our anniversary. Immediately upon arrival at our destination, we began having electrical issues. We spent 2.5 out of 4 days diagnosing and dealing with necessary repairs. We understand that there is always a possibility of malfunction, however this was a bit extreme. We actually considered abandoning the trip. We understand the contractual obligation however, as a good faith gesture we requested a portion of the fees be refunded. The request was declined although the owner acknowledged the issues we had are not typical. We will not consider this rental in the future.

2018 Winnebago Micro Minnie 2100BH

Review:

The Happy Camper Too made for a great getaway with my wife and 1 yr old daughter. It was very clean, new and well stocked with all the little things we probably would have forgot to pack as well as kitchen cookware, utensils and small appliances. We only had to bring personal items and food. It towed good with a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and was easy to maneuver. The owner was very helpful with explaining how everything worked and even allowed us to view the travel trailer before we booked which made the decision to book an easy one.
