The trailer is as advertised. The owner did not show up at the agreed upon time. We then agreed to communicate via text and checked the numbers. I had trouble with the heater in December and he never replied to my texts that i sent asking for help understanding the heater. The trailer was then useless to me in the cold. The owner offered a refund, but i have not seen it.
Great trailer, really appreciated the larger bathroom with exterior door for our deer hunting. Thanks for the use of the weight distribution hitch and liked the sway control bar.
I would recommend to rent from Clint he was so nice and offered to drop the camper at our site since it was in his area! Great to work with him!
It was perfect for our camping/wedding weekend. She had the RV well stocked with kitchen needs. It fit our family function nicely. Thank you for letting us use your home on wheels.
RV was exactly as listed. It was cleaned and had full propane. I had to ask a couple questions and owner responded quickly. Like any RV rental, we drive wisely and give ourselves time to get where we are going. The RV functioned well along the drive and during the trip. Any minor things we saw in the RV had no impact on th trip. For example, the side door was a bit hard to lock and the propane stove needed a lighter to start. So basically, it was in good condition for a 2011. Owner did care about cleanliness so expect it to be clean. I am giving it a rating of almost 5 because we did not have any issues during the trip and because it was ready for us to drive off. The price was good for us but a pretty basic RV without any specific frills.
Joshua was great to work with, the drop off and pick up were a great add on. He was very quick and response to the rental request. He explained everything very thoroughly and was very easy to get ahold of when we had any questions. The camper was very clean and in great condition. We loved the set up inside, and the awning and outdoor mini fridge were great. We had a great time, and on our way home we were already wanting to book our next trip with this camper. I would definitely recommend this camper to a friend!
Chad was very pleasant and helpful, nice camper, helped that it was supplied with pans and sheets. Great camping experience. Thanks
The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with. They let us come out ahead of time to learn about the equipment and function of the trailer. They are very friendly and accommodating, and communication was great. The trailer is nice and roomy, and well stocked with dishes and cookware. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. We plan to rent this trailer again.
Chris was a great help to me, a first time RVer - making sure my vehicle was adequate and equipped for pulling the trailer, making sure all my questions were answered and even answering texted questions while we were on the road. The travel trailer was as advertised, and equipped with many 'extras' (items that don't come from the dealer) that made using the trailer very easy.
This was our first experience with RVShare and I highly recommend it. Our camper owner was very responsive and he was great to work with. He was prompt and reliable and worked with us very well. I appreciate his courtesy and responsiveness to our questions. Great service and we had a great experience.
The RV was more or less fine. Some cosmetic issues inside such as worn fabric on couches and captains seats. Not a big deal, just didn't expect it. Some of the trim for the single bed was broken which was disappointing. That all being said, Eric and David shined from a service experience. We had the converter go out and at 10:30 at night david answered our call and approved us to contact a local RV mexhanic. The next day the mechanic had us going and david called to handle no problem. Didn't make us feel as if we were putting him out and he just took care of it. These gentlemen lived up to their word and then some. I appreciate that more than the actual RV. I'd definitely rent from them again.
It was great working with Robert. The Georgie Boy is clean and in good condition. We will definitely rent this RV again.
This was a five-star experience all the way around. From pick-up to drop-off, Joshua has this under control. Communication is great, and his set up is more than you could ask for. He explained everything in clear and direct fashion, made sure that we knew how to operate everything, and obviously cares about making sure you have a great experience. The Chateux itself rides extremely nicely. You almost forget you are pulling something. The sway bar is a nice touch, never once felt like it was moving around the road. The master bedroom has an upgraded mattress - nice touch. Outdoor kitchen is great with the gigantic awning. TIP: if you have a drill with a socket set, you might consider packing it so that lowering the stabilizer jacks is quicker. Not a problem at all, but I'll probably pack mine next time.
Kristie is a fantastic owner to work with...she literally responds in seconds even during the rental to help address issues. Communication with this owner is top notch. The RV is large and our favorite features were the outdoor & indoor kitchen and half bath offering. It was easy to move around and storage was excellent. The RV is clearly very upscale in features.
Super clean, easy to hook up, comfortable queen bed. Great communication, Robert was very helpful to make sure we were ready and prepared for our vacation.
Sarah and Sam were wonderful! The RV was perfect for our needs. It was clean and ACs were ice cold. They dropped off, setup, and picked up the RV for us, in my opinion it was worth the additional fee. Wonderful first experience on RV Share. We will use them again!
We knew something might be amiss when a week before we were scheduled to pick up the RV, the only review appeared: "needs work. disappointing trip." We contacted RV Share and the owner to express concern. The owner told us he hadn't seen the review, wasn't sure to what it was referring, and had a mechanic look it over before each trip. The last part is definitely true because when my husband went to pick it up at the scheduled time, the mechanic was literally underneath the RV looking at it. He was told that the RV needed a hydraulic hose but the mechanic didn't have one. No hydraulics means you can't level out the RV at campsites or push out the walls. Kind of an important part of what makes an RV an RV. My husband urged the mechanic to fix it. After hours of waiting in the heat, it was "fixed." The owner's friend (who was very nice and was the person we spoke with the day of pick up and drop off) waived the $100 charge we were getting for picking up the RV the night before--even though that was the agreed upon date/time. Was still incredibly disappointing to realize that the pictures were obviously taken when this RV was purchased in 2001. The couch, chairs, benches, and the awning have gone through much wear and tear. The pictures are definitely not accurate. Still would have rented if we had seen the accurate pictures, but the inaccuracy annoyed us and raised another red flag. Also unprofessional was the fact that the RV had a 1/4 tank of gas and was filthy on the outside from the previous trip. Spent nearly an hour and $50 at a truck stop scrubbing the outside of the RV. Again, when someone doesn't take care of the small things, it makes you worry about the big things. At our first campground, we had issues getting the jacks to retract. We realized that the mechanic hadn't put in much hydraulic fluid. So we had to take an out-of-the-way trip to find a station (four stops) that sold hydraulic fluid. Another $30. We thought we should check the propane tank. Good thing because it was nearly empty. More money. The second night the inflatable mattress kept deflating on the pull-out couch. My mother decided it was easiest to just sleep on the couch the remaining six nights instead of inflating the mattress every two hours. Then right on cue, the A/C quit working on us during our eight-hour drive through South Dakota. Fortunately that happened with only two days left in our trip. We called and left a message for the owner when we returned to talk about our issues. He never returned our call. However, our card was charged within 24 hours for the extra mileage on the RV. We signed up for that and knew the deal but were disappointed that that was his concern instead of hearing ours. I would not rent from this owner; however, I would look into ones that have positive reviews. If my husband wasn't handy and good with vehicles, I think this could have been a miserable trip. Fortunately, he's smart, hard-working, and good with his hands--a definite saving grace of this trip.
Every element of this rental was five-star! This vehicle is very well equipped and priced fairly. The owner is great to work with and was quick to respond to questions. I will rent this vehicle again!
The overall experience was great and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends or family.
The travel trailer was very clean, beds were comfortable and the outside stovetop with sink and refrigerator made camping very convenient. Everything worked as it should and Josh was extremely helpful via text before and during our vacation to answer our questions. Great to work with and we are already looking at dates to secure to rent again in the future.
we don't go camping much but renting oldie but goodie makes us look forward to more camping int he future !
