2017 Airstream Basecamp
$150
Review:

We had a really great time in the Airstream Basecamp! It was a little pricey, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Damon was very good at explaining how everything worked and he was always available if we had a question. The Basecamp is small but it is very well equipped and the design is wonderful. Airstream thought of everything. We loved it and will rent it again.

Awesome rental! We rented for a quick trip out to the Fruita trails. 3 kiddos in tow, they had a blast in the bunk, one slept on the dinette and we slept like champs on the queen bed. I loved how they had linens/towels/cleaning supplies ready to roll. I'd stay in their camper vs. a hotel ANY DAY. These folks thought out the details for you...so you can concentrate on having fun. Thank you Nick!

Thanks so much. The RV was ready and waiting for us upon our arrival and it was already prepped and ready for a great weekend with the kids in Moab. Lee was a pleasure to work with and went out of his way to make everything great for a fantastic family outing. Thanks!

This was the first time I used this service and I would highly recommend it. Paul, the owner, was truly fantastic to work with. They deliver and set-up/pick-up the trailer free within 10-miles of Moab (a win-win). They were right on-time, super friendly and helpful.

This was our first experience renting on rvshare.com and it turned out fantastic. So good that I'm afraid any future rental will be a let down. The trailer was brand new, had everything we needed, and easy to use. Ken had it parked in a great spot at a local campground and ready for us to use. Ken is extremely helpful and enthusiastic about seeing that his renters enjoy their stay. We can't wait to rent this trailer again.

It was our family's first time to the Moab area and we couldn't have picked a better RV or host. Ken was extremely easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was an amazing one- including picking out a perfect camping spot based upon our family and our needs. It helps to have a local on your side! As far as the RV, it was wonderful. Brand new and very well equipped with dishes, kitchen necessities, bedding, towels, games, camping chairs, etc. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the cookies Ken left for us! He really thought of everything and if anything did come up or we needed a recommendation, we could always get a hold of him quickly. It was a perfect stay and we wouldn't have changed a thing.

This trailer met our needs perfectly. We had plenty of room for a family of four. Although it could sleep six, I think it would feel very cramped. Paul's communication with us was very prompt, friendly and helpful.

This RV was perfect for a week trip to Moab! TC was amazing to work with, and his RV felt like home. The process could not have been easier. TC delivered the RV to our campsite, and set it up for us. He made sure we knew how everything worked, and then came back to pick it up at the end of the week. So nice for us to travel to the parks in our own car! I will definitely rent this RV again, next time we are back. I highly recommend this experience!

2017 Airstream Basecamp

Review:

We really enjoyed the little Basecamp. Everything worked well and we were able to get into any camping spot we wanted. Stayed in several State Park sites. Super easy to pull and very comfortable for two people. Great galley and very functional shower. We were really surprised at how comfortable the bed was. We slept well, warm and comfy. Finally, we met a lot of folks just because it is somewhat unusual, great conversation starter.

Review:

I enjoyed this experience. My Toyota Tacoma 6-cyl pulled the trailer with little effort. I drove up McClure Pass (a paved road at elevation) and over Kebler Pass (a dirt road) to see how it would do. No problems. The clearance is not very high, so I wouldn't take this trailer off-road, but it did fine on the road, and in the public campgrounds I stayed in. Damon was great explaining everything and getting me going.

Easy Five-Star Rating! In every category, Damon and Danyielle hit them out of the park. Their "Silver Bullet" was gleaming on the outside and sparkling on the inside. We hadn't expected such a "like new" camper. We were also surprised to find the rental experience so inclusive of amenities--all we needed were our clothing and toiletries, everything else was provided for--towels, bedding, kitchen ware, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, bath and kitchen soap, a full fresh water tank and plenty of propane. Danyielle gave us a very thorough orientation and was very up-front with regard to what we could expect of each other. We went over every minuscule bit of normal wear and tear already present, and were assured that we could comfortably report to her and Damon any potential major mishap ("that's what insurance is for"), or minor ding. Communication via smartphone with both Damon and Danyielle was very pleasant, and their replies were always prompt, courteous and warm. Danyielle made us feel welcome to make the Basecamp our home. She left us feeling confident about all the tips and tricks to living in Basecamp for a most enjoyable and trouble-free weekend. Damon and Danyielle were thoroughly professional in handling the business end of our RV rental experience. They were flexible, too, with regard to pick-up and drop-off arrangements--that really helped! We did our utmost to uphold our end of the bargain, giving the interior as thorough a cleaning as needed to restore order and leave it just the way we found it, and pumping and treating the holding tank before return. This was such a pleasant and effortless rental experience that we would not hesitate to rent from Damon and Danyielle again. However, we found Basecamp so perfectly matched our needs in a small travel trailer that we stopped at an Airstream dealer on the way home and bought one! We are so grateful we had the opportunity to try a Basecamp before buying!! Very grateful there are folks like Damon and Danyielle who are willing to "RVshare"!
