Review:

Overall, this was not an easy rental experience as our assumptions did not align with the renter's expectations. The RV itself is great, per-pick up communication and pick up experience was overall good. Terri, (the lady we communicated with), was nice, flexible and fair. With that said, compared to my other rental experiences, the expectations of the renters were not realistic. They expected the RV to be returned spotless clean inside and out. In other words, prior to return, they wanted us to find a location that is like a car wash for RVs and large trucks. They also wanted us to empty the tanks, fill up fresh water, propane, etc. The anxiety to comply with all these was overwhelming. We were coming back from Oregon on a 13 hours journey, finding a place that would wash the RV was definitely something we would preferred not to worry about. Most other renters just charge a reasonable cleaning fee upfront, and that works well, at least for us. If you are experienced renter who knows how to deal with cleaning, dumping, refilling, and don't mind to waste your time on doing all that, you should not have a problem. But, if you are inexperienced, like us, and just want to have a good time, not worrying about per-return choirs, be careful with this one.

Review:

Jason and Shelly are amazing renters. They did everything possible to make this an easy and pleasant process. Flexible on pick up / drop off times, flexible on dumping options. Offered to accept the return with an empty gas tank, and offered to fill it up at cost. They even provided bedding at no extra charge, which is not as common as you would hope. Reasonable cleaning fee, so you don’t have to worry about washing the RV inside out prior to return as some other renter made us do. They have insurance that provides basic covers to renters. They also gave us an option to buy non mandatory extended coverage that we bought for just $15/day, which they also made super easy. This is our third time renting an RV in the last two years, and by far the best experience.

It was a wonderful experience. Jason and Shelley went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their motor home. All the systems were explained in detail and the back up documentation was excellent. The next time we need an RV, these are the folks I am going to call.

Benjamin is super helpful and thorough. He answered our questions quickly, and we appreciated that, since it was our first time renting an RV. Whereas other RV renters we met on the trip got a 15 minute overview and were sent along their way, we received a 2 hour tutorial on how to operate the numerous controls of the RV and even drive it. The RV is a pretty amazing machine and in excellent shape. We especially appreciated all the little things, like including towels, linens, a football, a giant mat for under the awning, a grill, cookware, chairs, gloves for sewage dump, etc. They thought of everything! Our experience centered around the 2017 eclipse in Madras OR. After the eclipse, we drove for 22 hours straight for what should have been a 9.5 hour trip. We realized that as tough as it was, the trip would have been downright impossible without this RV. So thank you, Benjamin! #EclipseGridlock

The RV is older. You can tell by tears in the upholstery and overhead vents, etc. But the owner has done a good job of upkeep for the year of the RV. It was fun having the 4x4 driving action which is rare to find in an RV. The owner was very pleasant to work with.

I contacted Jason about renting his RV, and quickly got an affirmative reply regarding it's availability for my time frame. In the subsequent exchange of emails, I explained that we would be flying in from the Midwest and requested a "wish-list" of items we would like to have included with the RV since we would have to travel light, but knowing that it was a stretch to think we could have it all. Jason greatly exceeded our expectations, going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed--even going as far as to order a "washers" game we had put on our list, citing that others may enjoy it in future rentals. The RV was immaculate and performed well, and of course was stocked with everything we would need for our adventure. Jason's wife Shelley was the one who turned over the keys, and she did a wonderful job of explaining everything and providing a very detailed overview of the RV. The whole process went very smoothly, we were treated very well, and Jason and Shelley were a pleasure to work with on this rental. Having rented RV's from agencies in the past, I can't say enough positive things about this experience.

Review:

I recently rented this trailer to go to the Sanomoa Drag races. Spent 4 comfortable nights. It has all the comforts of home. Large shower and restroom. 2 separate sleeping areas with privacy. 3rd bed for extra needs. The fridge is large and stayed cool. It has a great Bluetooth stereo with exterior speakers to go along with the out side kitchen ( my favorite part)! The trailer is like new. We were the lucky first consumers. The experience with the owners was nothing short of a great pleasure. Amazing people with the cutest little 5 yr old blond that will help with the check in tour. And the cat! Such a pleasure to meet these folks! The trailer for it's size is surprisingly light. Along with it's upgraded torsion bars it's the simplest to tow it my experience. Over all. I couldn't recommend this trailer and family more for your needs! If your a 2-3 times a year camper. This is the way to go! Can't go wrong.. I would recommend finding a generator min. 3500 Watts to run the AC if your out in the wild. ;) Enjoy!! Gary B

It was might my 1st time to rent or drive an RV. Jason and Shelley were great communicators and great owners! We flew in from Texas and they set up the entire RV with everything we needed. The RV itself is in great condition and very well maintained. Jason even recommended the State park we liked the best. We do a lot of VRBO renting and this was the best experience we have ever had renting from an individual.

Review:

Advertised as sleeps 6; however it is best for 2 adults with one or two kids. Very uncomfortable for two adults to sleep over cab as cab over board sags. Didn't care for seating arrangement. Even with slide out, only has one upholstered chair besides dining table benches, so was not comfortable inside seating. Can be somewhat difficult to drive depending on road condition. Was charged $178.21 to replace one hubcap that came off, unknowingly, during trip. If I owned and rented a motor home, I would have assumed the cost of hubcap replacement rather than passing on to renter. I would have assumed it to be normal wear and tear rather than the renter’s fault. I won’t use RV Share again either because on top of the hubcap charge of $178.21, RV Share charged an $18.98 fee to process this charge.
