Review:

I went to Joshua tree with wife and 2 kids, was a bit concern to drive a RV because it was my first time to rent a RV. Not only about driving concern about to connect to the city water , dump station and other things. Is it your first time to rent a RV? Don't worry about it. Marisol, Jason (The RV owner) are very nice and response really quickly every time I asked questions. They have a check list what to do, how to use and change the settings. The RV was very new, clean and nice. The space was good enough for 4 of us. It was easy to park at the shopping center. I really had a great time with my family that is because of Marisol and Jason's help. I wish I could give 10 stars for the review if there is 10 stars.

2016 Coachman Freedom Express

Review:

Matt was fantastic to work with! He has a quick response time in getting back to you and is very punctual. He was very accommodating with my needs and concerns. Matt also provides amenities you may need for your trip such as blankets, pillows, pots/pans, and cutlery. The Coachman Freedom Express trailer was spacious, well kept and had lots of storage. There were a few nicks around the base of some cabinets; most likely due to people or items running into it, but it was nothing to complain about. The kitchen/dining area had a fantastic open floor plan, however the space between the sink island and master bed was a bit snug to pass through. Not a big issue, but worth noting. The master bed wasn't your typical mattress. A roughly 6 inch tall queen "mattress" sat upon a wooden platform. The first night sleeping on it was not so fun; perhaps I am partial to my Serta at home. If you're used to harder mattresses, I would say this would not be an issue for you. However, if you're prone to more softer mattresses like me, I would recommend buying or bringing a foam pad to lay on top of; which is exactly what I did. I went to Walmart and bought a 4 inch foam pad (which I recently returned) and put it on top of the existing "mattress". Doing this helped a lot and was very comfortable. The 2 bunk beds located in the back of the trailer was perfect for my 18 month old daughter. I placed a toddler bed rail on the lower bunk so that she would not fall out. Getting her in and out of the bunk was easy. I would recommend not having a little one sleep on the top bunk though because it is much too high. It is also wise to note that at the very end of each bunk bed is a reasonably large sized wooden storage area. This area is great for tweens and teens to store their luggage, but if you have a wiggly toddler who flops around while they sleep, I would suggest filling the cabinet hole with blankets and pillows so that they don't roll into the wooden box. Just one recommendation from one parent to another. The bathroom was 2 thumbs up! It was easy to move around in it and not feel claustrophobic. The shower was tub style, which as a mom, was great to give the little one a bath. My only "annoyance" was the battery dying quite often and having to run the generator everyday for 4-5 hours. This issue was brought to Matt's attention and he was VERY apologetic. In the end, he ended up giving us a discounted rate on the generator fee. I'm sure since then he has resolved the battery issue so this problem shouldn't happen to you. All in all I would give Matt and his 2016 Coachman Freedom Express trailer 5 stars. His laid back, but yet professional attitude was easy to work with. Matt was hospitable, considerate, and pleasant to do business with. The trailer, despite MINUTE nuisances, was an excellent home-away-from home. I would definitely rent from Matt again.

Ivan was great, but the rv was way too tight, even for 2 people. The bed was not big enough for 2, plus, we needed to bring our own step stool to get into it. Making up the 2nd bed (under the dining table was a huge hassle, and very uncomfortable according to my husband. We banged and scraped ourselves trying to maneuver 2 people just loading it. Plus couldn't get from the front seats to the rear without injuring ourselves.

The proof of a great rental is not when everything goes perfectly right. It's when you have issues come up. We were cooking for a large group * a circuit went out. I tried to trace it myself but could not get it going. I called Chris & he promptly call me back & saved the dinner. I will be renting from him again.

Review:

This spacious motorhome is a smooth ride. I truly enjoyed driving it all the way to Zion National Park and back. For a family of three we had all the space and amenities we could want and need. We especially loved all the extra space we gained with the slide-out and loved the exterior shower hose for rinsing off after a long day on the river. The bed is cozy and the sofa is a real plus. Overall we really loved this 29 foot Jayco Redhawk and can't wait to rent it again for our next RV adventure!

Review:

The owners are very nice and accommodating on pickup and delivery times. I was traveling from the SF Valley to pick up and was able to arrange a time slot to pickup and drop off that accounted for traffic. That took a lot of stress from the exchange. The trailer itself is just as advertised, it was a basic, fully functional travel trailer very well suited for a family of two to four. For me alone, I had a lot of storage space for my gear. The amenities are basic, just what I wanted and what was advertised and the unit was clean and neat. I would definitely rent again. I pulled this unit with my 2019 BMW X3 with the factory towing package. My car is rated for 4400 lbs and except for significant grades going up the eastern Sierras, it went unnoticed behind my car. If you're not headed to the mountains, you could easily tow this trailer with a small SUV. Overall, a great experience with organized, professional owners.

Renting from Chris was the best thing I could have done. His communication before, during and after my rental was great. He's very patient and thorough. This was the perfect couples coach. Both slideouts made the interior feel spacious, allowed us to have a little more space for meal prepping and it was nice to have some room to stretch out a bit. The trailer was in good shape, interior clean, everything worked, all the upgrades are functional and the extra camping equipment available with the rental was handy. The dining area is stocked with kitchen goods and theres plenty of games/ entertainment for the kids I would happily rent this trailer again in a heartbeat!
