Review:

It’s nice rummy little trailer. But it was not clean! Emanuel who manages it for the owner charged $125.00 cleaning fee. When I got there to pick it up was doing a quick wipe job with a broom a rag and a spray bottle of something. The bathroom sink and faucet were discussing with toothpaste spit everywhere even on the wall. All the mirrors were so smeared you could barely use them. There was only one blind left it is over the kitchen table and it’s broke. There is one throw rug and it needs to replaced because of all the stains. I asked if it had a generator and was told yes. But what I wasn’t told was it’s 2 portable generators that you have to carry outside and around to the other side of the trailer. Then you have to figure out how to piggyback them. Emanuel said he would send me a video on how to do this, I never received the video. This trailer is parked on the side of a hill in the dirt. There is about a 5 inch drop off the side of the driveway. Once you drop off you only have a foot or so to move to line up your ball to the hitch and your in the dirt on a hill so you’re tires spin. Once you get the trailer hooked up then you have to give it enough gas to get back up on the concrete and not go off the other side because it’s a steep drop off of about 30 ft down. Also the manager or owner should be checking lights before it’s rented out. There was a tail light out that I had to go get myself and fix. He did Venmo me the cost of the bulbs.

We had Cris' Grand Design Imagine delivered to our site and I don't think we could have asked for a smoother transaction. We met Cris at the site and he went over how to care for the RV and made sure he was available during our rental in case we had any questions/concerns. We had an incredible weekend in this RV and Cris helped by making this a seamless process!

Ken's RV had a bit of wear n tear on it but it was expected since it was a 2006. It ran well and satisfied our needs. Ken was very responsive and flexible to our request for a slightly late return. He was a pleasure to deal with.

I went to Joshua tree with wife and 2 kids, was a bit concern to drive a RV because it was my first time to rent a RV. Not only about driving concern about to connect to the city water , dump station and other things. Is it your first time to rent a RV? Don't worry about it. Marisol, Jason (The RV owner) are very nice and response really quickly every time I asked questions. They have a check list what to do, how to use and change the settings. The RV was very new, clean and nice. The space was good enough for 4 of us. It was easy to park at the shopping center. I really had a great time with my family that is because of Marisol and Jason's help. I wish I could give 10 stars for the review if there is 10 stars.

2016 Coachman Freedom Express
$85
Review:

Matt was fantastic to work with! He has a quick response time in getting back to you and is very punctual. He was very accommodating with my needs and concerns. Matt also provides amenities you may need for your trip such as blankets, pillows, pots/pans, and cutlery. The Coachman Freedom Express trailer was spacious, well kept and had lots of storage. There were a few nicks around the base of some cabinets; most likely due to people or items running into it, but it was nothing to complain about. The kitchen/dining area had a fantastic open floor plan, however the space between the sink island and master bed was a bit snug to pass through. Not a big issue, but worth noting. The master bed wasn't your typical mattress. A roughly 6 inch tall queen "mattress" sat upon a wooden platform. The first night sleeping on it was not so fun; perhaps I am partial to my Serta at home. If you're used to harder mattresses, I would say this would not be an issue for you. However, if you're prone to more softer mattresses like me, I would recommend buying or bringing a foam pad to lay on top of; which is exactly what I did. I went to Walmart and bought a 4 inch foam pad (which I recently returned) and put it on top of the existing "mattress". Doing this helped a lot and was very comfortable. The 2 bunk beds located in the back of the trailer was perfect for my 18 month old daughter. I placed a toddler bed rail on the lower bunk so that she would not fall out. Getting her in and out of the bunk was easy. I would recommend not having a little one sleep on the top bunk though because it is much too high. It is also wise to note that at the very end of each bunk bed is a reasonably large sized wooden storage area. This area is great for tweens and teens to store their luggage, but if you have a wiggly toddler who flops around while they sleep, I would suggest filling the cabinet hole with blankets and pillows so that they don't roll into the wooden box. Just one recommendation from one parent to another. The bathroom was 2 thumbs up! It was easy to move around in it and not feel claustrophobic. The shower was tub style, which as a mom, was great to give the little one a bath. My only "annoyance" was the battery dying quite often and having to run the generator everyday for 4-5 hours. This issue was brought to Matt's attention and he was VERY apologetic. In the end, he ended up giving us a discounted rate on the generator fee. I'm sure since then he has resolved the battery issue so this problem shouldn't happen to you. All in all I would give Matt and his 2016 Coachman Freedom Express trailer 5 stars. His laid back, but yet professional attitude was easy to work with. Matt was hospitable, considerate, and pleasant to do business with. The trailer, despite MINUTE nuisances, was an excellent home-away-from home. I would definitely rent from Matt again.

Review:

The RV was clean and ready to go. Owner was very flexible with pickup time. Her partner did all of the check out/check in with us and was helpful in answering all questions we had. They even texted us gas locations near them with the lowest prices for the end of our trip. The RV is fairly well stocked, camp table and some chairs as well as an extra cooler in the back storage area. The mini ‘training videos’ were super helpful.

Ivan was great, but the rv was way too tight, even for 2 people. The bed was not big enough for 2, plus, we needed to bring our own step stool to get into it. Making up the 2nd bed (under the dining table was a huge hassle, and very uncomfortable according to my husband. We banged and scraped ourselves trying to maneuver 2 people just loading it. Plus couldn't get from the front seats to the rear without injuring ourselves.
