2017 Dutchmen Kodiak Express Bunkhouse
$100
Review:

Trailer was perfect for our family, 2 adults, 2 children 14 and 10. Very clean and had all of the little stuff that you do not have to bring like pots, pans, silverware, grill etc. Very easy pick up and drop off, trailer pulled great with a half ton and all pulling equipment was provided. We would definitely rent with them again.

Clean, Safe, and easy to tow. Dave was a prince. His trailer is in great shape. He was accommodating to our schedule and we communicated before and during the trip. He provided the basics, and even went out of his way to get a few extras that we felt were needed to make the camping experience easier. The heater was great- made cold nights in the Grand Canyon very comfortable.

Unit drove very well but much of the inside is worn, Carpet is worn and not terribly clean. Many parts of interior are worn and coming apart. Electric hot water heater did not seem to work and drained batteries. Back mattress needs to be upgraded replaced as well as the mattress in the sofa sleeper. Next time I will pay more and rent a newer model and compare. This unit is big but I would have been embarassed if I had plans to actually sleep more than 2-3 guys. Most women would not have wanted to sleep in any of the areas with the exception of the rear bunk. This units interior is in need of renovation and fixup.

Tyler was great to deal with. The process was smooth. The trailer was exactly as advertised and so clean it still has that "new trailer smell" to it. A great experience.

2009 Forest River SunSeeker
$109
Review:

We absolutely loved renting the 29' Sunseeker from Nathan and Brian at Elite RV rentals. The RV matched our needs and treated us great during our trip. The beds were comfy, the AC worked great, the RV drove like a charm, and we appreciated how kind and informative the team was at Elite RV. One thing to note- we liked that the RV wasn't in pristine condition. The upholstry was worn, there were a few broken handles on things, a few missing blinds and what not. One could tell the RV had been well used. This didn't deter us in the slightest- in fact, we appreciated that aspect of it because we didn't want to worry about small details. Besides being a little banged up, the RV was clean and was a super value for the cost. We are grateful to have found this and would rent again in a heartbeat.

Review:

Very nice unit. In a good state of repair for the most part. Owner was very amenable and nice to work with but...... I picked up the unit, no big surprises when I got there. I did notice the unit was very dusty, linen was very clean and smelled nice, but was surprised by the dust on stereo, shelves, counter, etc. Owner guided me through all of the systems and unit was very well stocked with all of the things that you would think plus even some that you would not. It was noted that the toiled does not fill correctly before I left. Of course this was a problem all weekend. Got out to campsite and had a great time (it was a dry site in the middle of the desert). 1.5 days later I am out of water!!! Unit has 60 gallon water tank, we had not showered and had only washed hands and done the dishes twice! What in the world? So after much consternation I hook up the unit and tow it to a local RV facility to refill the water tanks and dump. When I dump no more than 10 gallons came out!! It is my guess that the person who filled the unit THOUGHT it was full because they did not 'burp' the water fill. Ran the hose too fast and the vent cause an air entrapment. Water tank electronics showed full but it was not at all. When I went to retract the slide I noted that only one side was moving, after further investigation I discovered that a bolt had fallen out of the drive shaft between front and rear pinion assemblies on the slide. Somebody had replaced this bolt with a bent piece of steel that had fallen out at the campsite. I had to replace said piece of steel in order to be able to retract the slide. So after spending 4 hours of my Saturday fixing the slide and getting water I am back to my vacation....... Also when pulling out pots and pans discover many items that are dirty. Also found many items that had been washed but still had soap residue on them. When I returned the unit to Owner I told him of these issues, fully explaining my consternation......he commiserated with me and said sorry. That is all very nice but that does not give me back my 4 hours of life and vacation! As part of the rental we were required to pay a $ 75.00 cleaning fee. As the unit was not fully clean this is suspect, but I could have overlooked this. The water issue is a major issue for me. I paid more for this unit just so I did not have to fix the unit (which I did have to), deal with stinky sewage (which I did have to), would not have to take extra water bottles (which I SHOULD have, apparently). Overall, this trailer is a very nice unit but the water fill issue really took the shine off of my vacation.....I should have saved the $ 500.00 and just tent camped since it would have been easier.

2012 Thor Chateau

Review:

Just got back from an extended weekend traveling around northern AZ in the Thor Chateau with my brothers. The trip was amazing and in large part was due to the Thor, which drove like a champ. The RV has everything you could possibly need and the owner made it real easy with no hidden fees/expenses. The owner also was great in the communication department answering all our questions promptly and in regards to pick up/drop off. I would definitely recommend this RV for your next trip and look forward booking with this owner again in the future!

We could not have asked for a better experience. Larry was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us all the time needed to become familiar with the RV and all its features. The RV itself was just as described and everything was, clean and functioning as expected. Larry definitely takes good care of his equipment. We would certainly recommend The boondockers paradise to anyone.

We rented Molly for 2 nights to do some local hiking and camping in Flagstaff. Scott and Sharon made pick-up simple and easy. Both carefully gave me a quick tour with everything I needed to know about how to have the best experience with Molly. Molly is super simple to drive and setup, and comes equipped with everything a person could need. Molly made our quick trip a breeze. Thank you Scott and Sharon, you are first on our list for future RV Rentals.

Julie Bertch Oct 11, 4:15 PM EDT We want to report to you about our rental experience with Elite Rentals of Phoenix, AZ. The coach, in general, served us well. We had a shower that leaked rather badly but otherwise only a few minor problems. But near the last of our month’s rental, we encountered a serious situation. The tires on the RV were dangerously bald. We started to experience a “shimmy” and found a tire dealer. The front left tire was badly “cupped,” which seemed to cause the shimmy. Then we discovered worse: The four rear tires were very—very—bald. We called Elite, and Nathan agreed to change them all out. That’s fine, but we had been driving on them for three thousand miles. Contrary to Nathan’s assessment, we couldn't possibly have worn those tires bare in that time. Yes, we should have looked at them at checkout time, but we didn’t, and we blame ourselves for that lack of attention. However, we believe Elite Rentals was negligent in sending us out with such inadequate equipment. In my first report to RVshare, I included a picture that I would like to upload here, but I don't see a way to do that. We were, we believe, just one rainstorm away from disaster.

Fantastic experience!! We have already recommended to several friends. Eric and his family are so helpful and the trailer is fully stocked which is great! This was our first time renting and Eric walked us thru everything. They even provide a manual with everything written down step by step to refer to. I say "go for it!"
