Everything was as advertised. The super fun Jayo was super fun. Ray and his wife made sure of it!
This toy trailer is absolutely for those who wish to get out into nature, but don’t have the experience to go with just a backpack. John provides everything you need to be comfortable while leaving a small footprint. The trailer itself is very sleek and cozy, and you won’t find anything better for the price. Plus John’s wife Lara sent us out with fresh and delicious, home-made banana bread that really hit the spot after a long hike. I couldn’t recommmend it more highly and will definitely be renting from John and Lara next time!
The little red wagon was a great and easy to tow camper with everything we needed. John was so accommodating and made the entire experience a joy. We will definitely refer him and his camper to anyone who is looking for a convenient and affordable option to use while camping in the Flagstaff area.
Shon is a fantastic guy to rent from and I fully intend to rent again from him. He did his best to make sure the rig was in good shape for pickup and he was prompt and friendly. He was also quick to answer my questions after pickup.
Clean, Safe, and easy to tow. Dave was a prince. His trailer is in great shape. He was accommodating to our schedule and we communicated before and during the trip. He provided the basics, and even went out of his way to get a few extras that we felt were needed to make the camping experience easier. The heater was great- made cold nights in the Grand Canyon very comfortable.
Tyler was great to deal with. The process was smooth. The trailer was exactly as advertised and so clean it still has that "new trailer smell" to it. A great experience.
We could not have asked for a better experience. Larry was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us all the time needed to become familiar with the RV and all its features. The RV itself was just as described and everything was, clean and functioning as expected. Larry definitely takes good care of his equipment. We would certainly recommend The boondockers paradise to anyone.
We rented Molly for 2 nights to do some local hiking and camping in Flagstaff. Scott and Sharon made pick-up simple and easy. Both carefully gave me a quick tour with everything I needed to know about how to have the best experience with Molly. Molly is super simple to drive and setup, and comes equipped with everything a person could need. Molly made our quick trip a breeze. Thank you Scott and Sharon, you are first on our list for future RV Rentals.
This was a great travel trailer. It was very neat and clean and had everything we needed. It was perfect for us! Picking up and dropping off was made extremely easy for us. The overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend contacting this owner when you need an RV rental.
We had a wonderful time using Rays and Terri's toyhauler. Terri walked us through the trailer and showed us how everything worked. They even had a hitch if needed. Was very clean inside and was comfortable. A teryx4 will fit in the cargo area. Thanks again for the great experience.
Five stars all the way around. Not one issue, camper had everything we needed and wanted. Unexpected pre-stocked items helped during the trip. Camper was very clean, communication was excellent during whole experience, and owners take pride in their camper. I would definitely recommend renting this camper from Tyler.
We contacted Joe when we were in a panic. We were at the airport and got a call from the person we rented our original RV from that it had broken down. I got onto RVShare right away and we found Joe. He was very responsive to our questions, got on the phone with me, he worked with us on the price to try to match what previous RV owner had given us. Gave us extra mileage which we didn't end up using. When we picked up the RV he showed us how to use things. Told us the generator was acting up a bit in regards to the AC. The AC on the dash worked fine but we would need to start the generator in order to use the AC for the rest of the RV while driving it. Well, unfortunately, my husband who is very handy and can usually figure anything out, couldn't get the generator to allow us to run the AC while driving. May not sound like a big deal bc we had the AC on the dash working but in Arizona in the summer it's brutal. My daughter ended up with mild heat stroke and a horrible rash. One of the screeens broke because we had to open the windows. We accidentally left one of the windows in the bathroom open and that cracked. Joe wanted to charge us for both but when I explained that the windows were open because we were all dying of heat he didn't require us to pay for the screen. Still made us pay for the bathroom window. In my mind, there should have been some compensation for lack of AC. RV was great except when driving in 100 + degree weather. Then it was almost unbearable. I liked Joe but didn't think he was reasonable. I recommend anyone wanting to rent to make certain that the AC will work in the RV. Also it does not sleep 8. The bunks are super small but 1 is suitable for a small child. The bottom is not suitable for anyone. Both bunks are small and my daughter fell out of hers in the middle of the night. Too small for anyone really.
We had a wonderful two week vacation with Molly. Starting in Flagstaff and driving 1,395 miles around Northern Arizona and Southern Utah my family was able to experience many beautiful national parks and outdoor activities. (Arches, Capital Reef, Bryce Canyon, Zion, the North Rim and Sedona) It was a trip to remember. The RV was clean and in perfect working order with many of the supplies you will need. All that was needed was food and our suit cases. This was our first RV trip ever so Scott (the owner) walked me through all the RV's systems and had a handy reference guide for us to take on the trip. This made it easy to operate. This was a wonderful vacation and I would recommend it to anyone...even non-campers like my wife. She had a lot of reservations about the trip fearing days without a shower or not finding a camp ground and sleeping in a Walmart parking lot. Neither of these scenarios happened and she found the trip more fun than she could have imagined. She is now talking about a similar trip next year. I'm shocked.
Jon & Kelly were great - very calm and cool. The Brave was loads of fun and everything worked perfectly. It is spacious, handles easily on the road, has auto-level jacks, simple hookups - perfect for cruising. Best vacation ever. Thank you Jon and Kelly.
This was our first time renting an RV. No prior experience. The RV is very nice and the mechanic Johnny was very helpful in answering questions when picking it up and later on a couple of occasions through text messages. It was overall a very good experience and we enjoyed every minute of it.
We had a fantastic family vacation with this rig, visiting several national parks with two adults and five teens. It is in great condition and it is very well maintained. The owner made the whole process easy, and made sure we had all the supplies we needed. We could not have been more pleased with the whole experience.
We were very impressed with working with RVshare and with renting the Super Fun Jayco. Owners were awesome and it made for a great vacation! Highly recommend renting this Jayco. We would rent it again:)
We really enjoyed our trip to Lake Powell in the Molly. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The drive to our destination was smooth and set up was easy per Scotts instructions. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed and there were plenty of paper plates and untenciles if you didn't want to mess with washing dishes. My girls enjoyed the bunk that was up the ladder and it was very spacious. The master bedroom is comfortable and has plenty of storage. Communication with Scott and his wife was very easy and even during our trip he was prompt with his responses. I would highly suggest renting the Molly and we would rent again.
Awesome couple renting this unit. It's a basic toy hauler w/ 2 queen beds ( note they are long queens so standard queen sheets don't fit, but she left some sheet straps), two twins and a double/full bed. Has micro and fridge (no oven) and two tables plus lots of cabinets. The bathroom has mini tub and a toilet, the sink is right outside bath. The unit was clean and they delivered and picked up (for a fee) as we didn't have a tow vehicle. Perfect for our family reunion, where we needed extra beds, bath and kitchen.
This is a great unit and awesome value for the price. Lots of engine power for driving through mountains, lots of sleeping space for everyone to have their own bed.
This is a great RV for the family! The owners are wonderful to work with and the Winnebago Brave 31c is the perfect size for a not-too-big, not-too-small RV experience. Rent it, you won't regret it!
Absolutely perfect! Scott and Sharon are incredibly friendly and communicative. They were easy to work with and everything was better than described. Having them meet us at the airport saved us from trying to trek our family and all of our gear somewhere else to pick up the RV. My husband enjoyed the turbo diesel engine, rear backup camera, Mercedes chassis and many other luxury features. I enjoyed the space and many amenities to be able to enjoy the outdoors such as retractable awning, cooktops, and large sleeping areas which accommodated our family of 4 very comfortably. Scott & Sharon are dedicated to ensuring their guests have the best experience and will work with anyone for specific needs. Being able to drop the RV off with an empty tank relieved a lot of pressure at the end of a trip. Highly recommend! Attention GA pilots: this is the perfect solution for fly in / out with easy access to anywhere in the area (Grand Canyon, Moab, Sedona, Lake Powell, etc). Scott & Sharon are very familiar with the FBO. It is literally door-to-door service.
I had an excellent vacation thanks to 'Padre's getaway machine'! The camper was well equipped with dishes, utensils, cook ware, as well as linens and towels. The over cab bed was spacious and comfortable. It was great to be able to "carry your house on your back" and have cold drinks and hot meals wherever you go. The camper is fully self-contained, with generator and air conditioning if needed, so camping in National Forest campsites in beautiful places was easy. The truck performed well and I really appreciated the standard transmission for mountain roads. I highly recommend Father Gary and his "getaway machine" and would rent it again. SGN
We had Molly (the RV, affectionately called thus) for four days, and we can only say that she behaved like a charm. She took all we had to throw at her, and resolutely withstood our whims! More importantly, the owners, Scott & Sharon, are amazing people who go out of their way to help you and make the rental experience a memorably pleasant one. They were nothing but gracious to our family of five (2x grandparents, 2x parents, and 1x handful of a two-year-old li'l girl). Everything they did before, during and after rental was way beyond your expectations of the normal duties of the renter (e.g. Scott went all the way to make a list of suggested places and attractions we could enjoy while in the vicinity of Flagstaff). All-in-all, if we could give this 6 stars, we would, but RVshare has only 5 stars max! ;)
I have owned and traveled extensively in TWO motorhomes. My first was a 24' Flair, my second a 32' Winnebago Adventurer, both Class A's. The first took us up and down the entire west coast. The second took us across the US, and included the entire length of the east coast. I tell you this because I am a very experienced motorhome OWNER who has missed that lifestyle! Thus began my search for RV rentals. Scott and Sharon, and their beautiful rig were a dream come true! And they lived in Flagstaff!! Sharon even bought us a Keurig-like coffee pot for the trip!! She could not have been more delightful and helpful. (She also alerted us to the problematic bedroom door. It was stuck and remained so the entire trip.) Scott gave me a really good tour of the outside...diesel, compartments, stabilizer-location and operation, all hook ups, switches, slide-outs, etc. They even delivered the unit to my house the night before we left! I was in heaven! Then Day One. Couldn't get the main door open because the key had fallen from a very loose key holder Scott had provided. . Called. Scott delivered another set on a stable key ring. (He found the missing key on the ground as he was fixing the steps that wouldn't open and close!! (First clue?) While packing the night before, one of my neighbors inadvertently and unbeknownst to me, put the big, heavy books (including the RV manuals!) that were stored in the drawers below the wardrobe, in my garage! We needed those drawers for lingerie, etc. The bottoms of both had to be ducktaped shut and later repaired because the items would fall back into the LPG compartment! TV problems at every site. Very sophisticated TV and DASH unit. I am quite up-to-date on smart phones, internet, etc., but these two units are NOT for technically-challenged!!). We bought a coax cable (not provided) and managed to get sporadic TV connections. Most "searches" failed. Leaks at hose connection. Park Mgr couldn't fix and called repairman who verified leak there AND inside and other trouble spots. (Owner paid him @ $125 for repairs. Loose vent on roof, drawers below wardrobe, electrical connection to post, leak.). Replaced outside hose connector (that leaked and had to be wrench-tightened) with brass hose connector. He was not easy to deal with once we started communicating problems. His responses echoed comments like "Well, that never happened to me", etc. The implications that WE must've done something wrong permeated the trip. On our final day, while checking under the sink for items we put there, paper napkins, garbage bagels, etc, we discovered a plastic tub that was 3/4 full of brackish, foul-smelling liquid. After emptying it outside ( I NEVER would've poured that down the RV pipes!), we could see a residue on the sides of the tub. Wanting the owner's to see that dirty, brown residue, we did not clean the tub. Upon returning "Molly", Scott declared that the culprit in the tub was from a dig-cleaning wand that leaked! NOT ON YOUR LIFE! Would I rent this rig again? NO Should I be entitled to a partial refund? ABSOLUTELY. (Even she agreed) Respectfully, Carol
The owner let me pick it up the night before which was nice. He rents the camper with no battery. I didn't realize how important that was because I have never used a camper before. When we got to our spot we found out there was a leak in the water hose under the camper so we couldn't use any water. The toilet was also apparently not lined up correctly because we couldn't get that to work either. At night it was so cold the heater didn't do much even though it operated properly (after I figured out it needed to be reset). Ended up coming back a night earlier than expected due to the problems. When we returned it he said he would never buy another camper like this again. He only offered to refund 10% of the total which I felt was too low considering most of the functions of the trailer didn't work but he didn't budge. Then after we inspected the trailer and I left he sent some pictures of some clips that were broken. He said they were very inexpensive in the $5 ballpark shipped. He then put a claim on the security deposit for the clips. It's been about 2 weeks since returning and I still haven't received any refund in the mail but the security deposit was returned in full. Maybe he decided to use the refund to pay for the clips? Not sure since I never heard back from him and the clips were supposed to be really cheap so I would still have a refund. I wouldn't rent again.
