How To Get To Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park

To get to Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park, take I-526 or I-26 to US-17. Get on SC-703, and drive out to Sullivan's Island. Once you're in town, you can head west on Middle Street to reach Fort Moultrie. Fort Sumter is located on an island off the coast; you can take a boat from Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum on the eastern side of the Charleston Harbor or from Liberty Square Visitor Education Center on the western side.
