Colonial Parkway

Part of the Colonial National Historical Park, the Colonial Parkway was constructed to allow visitors a relaxing and picturesque passageway that connects Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown, the sites of three original American colonial settlements otherwise known as the Virginia Historic Triangle. History buffs can rejoice at all there is to see, including Historic Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and Yorktown Battlefield. Colonial Parkway, a National Scenic Byway, is a picturesque passageway without any commercial buildings obstructing its views.
