This rustic campground is located within Sequoia National Park. Tall trees surround this campground, and the Lodgepole Visitor Center is a short walk away. Lodgepole Campground is situated on a fork of the Kaweah River, and it features a small amphitheater.
Lodgepole Campground is a great place to get away from civilization. When you’re this deep in the forest, you won’t hear a sound at night. Plus, all of the sights of Sequoia National Forest are just a short drive away.
“Love this campground! Your experience really depends on which site you get, so make sure to log in and reserve as far in advance as possible. My favorite sites are the hike-in tent sites right along the river. Not too long of a walk, and gives some separation from the more crowded sites near the road.” – Adriane, Google Review
