Being just west of Phoenix makes this park a great place to stay for those who want to be able to explore the city without sleeping in the middle of it all. It’s in Buckeye, Arizona, a town with great golfing, shopping, restaurants, and hiking, and it’s a 30 minute drive from downtown Phoenix. Nearby attractions include horseback riding, the Buckeye Air Fair, the Phoenix Zoo, and the Castles and Coasters theme park. Although you have to go into downtown Phoenix to catch the daily bus to the Grand Canyon, you can also drive there yourself in just under four hours.
Leaf Verde RV Resort is the perfect balance of fun and entertainment with tranquility and relaxation. It is a resort-style RV park with a stunning pool area, large, well-shaded lots with privacy, beautiful desert views, and a large club room and recreation hall. You’ll also find a courtyard, a BBQ area, a camp store, and immaculate restroom and laundry facilities. Despite the comfort and extra services, the price is still very reasonable. For a Phoenix metro area RV park, the value here can’t be beaten.
“Quiet, clean, convenient, and all needs provided. We had a very enjoyable three-night stay. The pool was chilly but felt great in the 90 plus degree heat and our dog loved going to the dog park. If ever in Buckeye AZ we will stay again!” – Christina Eng, Google Review
