Florida State Parks are well run, and Jonathan Dickinson State Park has a long list of outdoor recreation starting with swimming, boating, and fishing. It has equestrian trails, mountain biking, geo-seeking, canoeing and kayaking and boat tours of the locality. For an outdoor vacation with children, this is a great place.
“Beautiful park displaying Florida’s varying ecosystems and biodiversity. If you are ‘on the fence’ head on over. Pleasant staff and a wonderfully maintained park await. You won’t be disappointed.” – James, Google review
