Also located in Hobe Sound, Jonathan Dickinson State Park is only about five miles north of Jupiter, which puts it less than 20 miles from West Palm Beach. This is a real get-back-to-nature kind of location; it offers access to the Loxahatchee River and is home to numerous trees and a swamp. The river is a great place to launch a boat or kayak and is teeming with fish.
There are two full-facility campgrounds here and a playground for the kids. This state park has a reputation for maintaining sparkling clean restrooms and showers.
“Clean and quiet RV camping area. Multiple, exceptionally clean bathhouses, changing stations for babies in men’s and women’s rooms. Washer/dryer sites. Each campsite has a clothesline, picnic table, fire pit, and grill. Blown away by this state park!” – Kate, Google Review
