Easterlin Park is part of Broward County Public Campgrounds and is a 41-acre, heavily wooded area designated as an Urban Wilderness Area. The park is an oasis of natural beauty with cypress trees, some of which are 250 years old and 100 feet tall, wild coffee, ferns, dahoon holly, cabbage palm, oak and red maple. A scenic lake provides a stunning backdrop for viewing wildlife, such as alligators and snakes.
The park itself has a playground, disc golf course, sports courts and geocaching hideaways. The park has a nature trail and is also part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. The project is a statewide trail system comprising around 2,000 miles of walking trails where visitors can observe more than 515 preserved bird habitats throughout Florida.
“The staff is excellent, especially Niki. We’re here from November until March and have already made our reservation for next winter. A gated and safe space to stay for the winter.” -Craig, Google Reviews
