Cheesequake State Park is a large public park. It offers access to Cheesequake Creek, and it is close to Raritan Bay. Plus, Cheesequake State Park is home to a medium-sized campground.
This RV park is home to five different nature trails, and fishing is available on the river. Boat rentals are available on-site, and free trash bags are provided by the park. In addition to the on-site amenities, this campground offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
“This is a beautiful park in a great location. I stayed here for two nights in a motorhome. My RV measures 10’10” and there is an underpass that is marked with a clearance of 11’0″ on the entrance road to the campgrounds. I drove very cautiously and made it through without a problem, so you can trust the sign. Once in the campground I found out that I booked the wrong dates so I was there a day early and the office was already closed. I spoke to a very pleasant park ranger who cheerfully helped us check into a different site that was available for the night.” – Jarod, Google Review
