If you’re into motocross racing or ATV riding, then bring your RV and toys to the Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area. You can camp on the grounds in a no-frills space and then get up bright and early for a day on the tracks. The area has 1,300 acres of hills and canyons.
Only campers are permitted to ride their motorcycles and quads in the RV park section; you won’t have to worry about the campground getting overrun by the day-use crowd. Although this park’s main attraction is the terrain, it also has its share of birds and wildlife to view. Coyotes, wild turkeys, and other animals have been spotted by eager explorers.
“Great camping, fire rings, hot showers and the best, friendliest staff of any campground in California.” – Richard, Google Review
