If your RV is not longer than 35 feet, it will fit on the spacious pads at Anthony Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley. This public park just north of Fremont is known for its hiking trails. It’s a vast land filled with eucalyptus trees and hills that overlook Lake Chabot.
This Fremont area campground provides you with the basic amenities including a fire ring, picnic table, and charcoal grill. Campers have no need to leave the park since it features everything from a cafe and amphitheater to an 18-hole golf course. Feel free to bring your bike and hit the trails.
“Stayed at the campground a full month in February. Loved the proximity to the city, loved the trails, loved the lake…” – Karl, Google Review
