Vintage shops and vintage trailers are all the rage these days. So it should come as no surprise when the two come together in the form of a retro boutique.
Rhymes With Orange boasts a brick and mortar shop in Winnipeg, as well as this super cool portable shop housed in a 1956 trailer. Owners Stefanie Hiebert and Erin Thiessel sell all kinds of shoes, clothes, and housewares from the 1950s and 60s.
Their traditional store is located in an old pharmacy building from the 1800s that is filled with character. They love the tin ceiling and the history around every corner.
Rhymes with Orange opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Stefanie and Erin stay busy each day answering emails from their ever popular blog, Oh So Lovely Vintage and creating new and interesting posts. Once the computer work is done, it’s on to arranging new products and tagging each of the pieces they want to feature. From 60’s prom gowns to your grandmother’s Pyrex, every shelf is filled with “flashback to wonderful.”
The camper trailer is perfect for selling at events, and this sweet orange and cream beauty always draws attention. Have you always wanted to own your own business? Have you ever thought of using a vintage trailer? If so, share your dream in the comments below!
