“The managers were very friendly and helpful. Large park, with a number of permanent residents, but very well kept. We stayed here for 4 nights mid June 2016. Cost was $35.00 a night with Good Sam discount. Site was a little wider than normal, and long enough for our 37-foot RV and tow-dolly. There are at least 3 bathhouse buildings, so you are close no matter where you are in the park. The one I went into was very clean. Pool was nice and clean, and they also offer shuffleboard, bocce balls, basketball, mini-golf and a playground area, plus a fenced dog park.” – BarrettsHappyTrails, RV Park Reviews

It offers a pool and recreation hall on site and plenty to do within a short distance. About a third of the sites are long term residents, the remainder are for overnight parking.

“We stayed 2 nights. Being there at high season and their overnight sites were full, they let us stay in one of the longer term sites that was very large. The site we were on was well covered with grass and fairly level. The park manager was very friendly and helped us get situated. We enjoyed the heated pool which was clean and well maintained. This park has about 1/3 park model sites and the rest are for RVs. We would stay here again. We camped at East Haven RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.”–Steve77, RV Park Reviews

“We chose this park for its location. Our site backed up to a pasture with cows, egrets, herons and Sandhill cranes. It was a nice change of scenery from most RV parks. The showers were clean, but small. The wifi was expensive and unreliable. We camped at Central Park of Haines City in a Fifth Wheel.”- A-J, RV Park Reviews

“We stayed in the Regal Pointe section which is the more recent development. Lovely resort, with paved roads and large sites, executive golf course, nice pool and clubhouse, and very well maintained. Our site backed onto the ninth green. Very nice, but for some reason however, the RV pads were built with a significant slope, and getting level meant having my front wheels off the ground. Many permanent residents, but very most people were friendly and welcoming. Organized activities galore with breakfasts, cards, Wii, Wii, crafts, dances, etc. WiFi was good, but only available in the clubhouse. Located close to I-4 and Hwy 27, and traffic is horrendous. Getting in and out of the resort was a challenge. Overall, a great place to stay. We camped at Deer Creek RV Golf Resort in a Motorhome.”– Voyageurs, RV Park Reviews
Thirty-five miles and a lifetime away from Legoland is the unique Lake Kissimmee State Park. Learn about the Florida Cowboys through live demonstrations in an 1876-era cow camp. Catch sight of wildlife like white-tailed deer, bald eagles, turkey, bobcats, and sandhill cranes. Hike the 13 miles of trails or go horseback riding on 6 miles of horse trails. The park has both primitive camping and full-facility campsites.

“We found it to be quite enjoyable; it’s off the beaten path, very large (the park itself) and has nice private camp sites with plenty of room. Most sites are compacted crushed shell and sand, very level with plenty of room for a screen room or tent plus chairs and whatever else you bring. They each have a fire ring and picnic table. Some sites (maybe 15 %) have concrete pads (I guess for Handicap access or large rigs). The bathroom/shower facilities are very close no matter what site you have and very clean. We are bike riders and absolutely loved the hiking trails. There are 2 trails that are each 6+ mile loops with many connector trails. These loops are very well marked and they provide a nice accurate map. The Trails are mostly wide pine forest with few roots and some sandy places but very few places that might require you to get off your bike and walk it. We loved riding them! We saw many deer while out. Also, do check out the Cow Camp, it’s a slice of FL history. On weekends, the lake is awash with Airboats, so you can pretty much constantly hear them roaring in the background, but we found it to be pretty benign, kind of like having a railroad track nearby. There is no wifi except at the

“We brought our boys for their first camping trip. Brought our boat as well. Paid $10 a day to leave our boat at the dock. The park staff was very nice and the park was clean and maintained well. 30 and 50 amp available at the spot, water, add well as, septic hookup which was very convenient. They have a store that carries a little bit of everything, a bait shop, beer and burger shack, and a shack for cleaning your daily catches. Would definitely stay there again. I got 115v on electric with a/c running: I’m impressed. Got satellite ok, plus had some shade. Pool was a relief from the heat and very clean with nice furniture. Passport rates. We will return. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.” – Libby, RV Park Reviews

“Park was very well kept and staff was very accomodating. All of the facilities were clean, and if you have a dog, convenient drop sites with bags. Our site was on a extreme slope, so it took several blocks to get us level. Most of the monthly sites have some degree of slope. If you are here weekly, the sites are more level. Great location for easy on/off rt. 4. Disney only 20min. away. We camped at Orlando S.W. / Fort Summit KOA in a Motorhome.” – Ceil, RV Park Reviews
