We're a small family owned park, located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds.
People love our park because, like the name suggests, it's quiet, rustic, and a serene way to enjoy the outdoors. On a few weekends in the summer, we host larger events that are always a hit for their attendees. On other nights, the sky is so dark it compares to the nearby Cherry Springs State Park. We also frequently have wildlife right in our field, the area of the campground is 100 acres -- about half of that is a field area. These include a local herd of Elk that frequent the field. And finally, during the summer and fall, we serve breakfast on the weekends in our pavilion.
We are nestled on 50 acres of a quiet wooded mountainside, and easily reached by car. Our cabins are located on the northern end of Lake Raystown near Huntingdon, PA. The dam is about one mile from our cabins and the nearest park service boat launch, Snyder’s Run, is within five miles of us.
The cabins are comfortable. There are horses and plenty of other animals that live on the property that kids and adults enjoy.
There you have it; the best of the best RV parks that Pennsylvania has to offer.
