Washington State Parks are now offering a fun and glamorous way to enjoy the outdoors. It’s called glamping and it’s all the rage these days.
Glamorous camping, or simply glamping, is a luxurious way of camping that lets you enjoy the natural surroundings while providing you with the amenities of a hotel.
Washington State Parks already have one glamping style offering at Millersvlvania State Park near Olympia, and the newest park to offer glamping is Moran State Park on Orcas Island, which is part of the enchanting San Juan Islands. The San Juans are considered to be nature’s playground and are a perfect spot for travelers who love outdoor adventures.
The state park has joined hands with Wanderlust Camps to provide visitors with cozy and comfortable camping. Visitors are offered a traditional canvas-wall tent equipped with beautiful furniture including a comfortable queen size bed with a cozy cushion covered in premium linens.
Visitors can enjoy the park and pamper themselves with a luxurious night at the Glamping site. Apart from these luxuries, Wanderlust Camps also offers activities such as cycling, hiking, sea kayaking, and trailing in nearby locations.
There are five glamping sites in the south end loop of the park that accommodate two to four people. Glampers can reserve any of these sites with a cost ranging from $119 to $219 per night for two people. Online reservations are available today!
The Northwest region manager of Washington State Parks, Eric Watilo, has said that this partnership will represent his agency’s progress towards the goal of finding methods for sustaining the park system.
