Have you ever wondered what the RV of the future will look like? Will a robot drive the vehicle? Will a small car turn into a gigantic RV with the push of a button, or maybe future RVs will take to the skies? Who knows what kind of crazy RVs could be invented years from now.
To get you inspired here are five futuristic concept RVs that are sure to blow your mind.
1. The Harmony Amphibious RV
Are you having trouble deciding between a luxury RV and yacht? Well start saving your money now for the Harmony Amphibious RV and you won’t have to choose.
The extraordinary design allows you can take this vehicle both on water and on land. Weili Feng was the genius behind this concept. He made it simple and eco-friendly so anyone can enjoy it. It comes with hydrogen batteries behind the front wheels, and a solar paddle that can both harvest solar energy or act as a sail when you navigate the open seas.
This amazing vehicle has a jet drive (in the rear) that can propel the Harmony across the water. It might look small, but this captivating motorhome has a large living area, kitchen, toilet, and a large sofa that turns into a huge bed.
2. The NAU Ecco
We don’t look at cars the way we used to. From simple automobiles, they have now turned into futuristic innovations that leave us with our mouths wide open. A lot of them focus on luxury, performance, and safety, but The Ecco shows that cars can be about freedom.
It may be compact, stylish and aerodynamic on the road, but when it’s parked, the Ecco transforms itself into a futuristic trailer only few could have dreamed up.
The Ecco is designed to sustain itself with the electric features implemented by the designers. It has no emissions, charges at a standard 240V station, and even has a built-in solar panel sail roof that can re-charge the vehicle while it’s parked. The exterior is made out of aluminum and glass, and the amazing design offers outstanding aerodynamics and a captivating view for all passengers.
3. The Bufalino
Tired of going on the road with all your friends or family? Well German industrial designer Cornelius Comanns made the Bufalino especially for you. It offers all the features you need and for a solo camping trip.
Comanns dreamed up this concept when he saw the Piaggio APE 50 tricycle (a three wheeled version of the Vespa scooter). The Bufalino is fully equipped with a bed, a shower, two seating units, some personal storage spaces, a kitchen, a fridge, a water tank, a work desk, and even a place to hang your clothes. As a bonus the unique design lets you relax on the roof on a sunny afternoon.
4. The Colim Concept
Colim, short for Colors of Life in Motion, is a new concept designed by Christian Susana. It looks like an awesome combination of car and caravan camper.
The cockpit easily disconnects from the large living space so you can park this baby in nature and head off to explore. The interior can be customized with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a nice seating area. It can host up to four people and it’s more fuel efficient then other motorhomes.
Mr Susana declared of his idea, “The Colim concept is an intelligent mobility concept which stretches primarily the bridge between caravans, camper, lifestyle and business”. Hopefully he will find a company to produce his concept on a large scale.
5. The eleMMent concept
This super cool RV is already a dream come true. Sadly it’s a far away dream for most of us. The EleMMent was ranked the most expensive RV in the world with a price tag around $3 million!
The EleMMent palazoo is superior to all the top-of-the-line motorhomes. It’s known in over 190 countries as the most luxurious and outstanding motorhome to date. Just look at that design. You probably can’t figure out if it’s a race-van, yacht or space ship.
It was manufactured with extreme precision and offers a panoramic, helicopter-like windshield that can be adjusted to the weather outside. The fully automatic liftable sky lounge with expandable side walls turns this beauty into a unbelievable mansion.
Inside there is a fully outfitted futuristic kitchenette along with a master bedroom with a king size bed, and a spa area to relax away your troubles. I only hope I win the lottery someday so I can buy myself this outstanding motorhome.
