Admittedly, vacuums aren’t the least bit sexy or exciting, but they do have their benefits in an RV. These handheld dirt suckers will save you a lot of hassle and time. While mops and brooms are fine cleaning tools, sometimes a vacuum is just easier.A handheld, rechargeable vacuum cleaner will make keeping your RV neat as easy as pie.

3. Cast Iron Pan

If you’ve ever used cast iron cookware then, you are well aware of the conveniences that it offers. Some of the benefits include:

  • Easy to clean
  • Holds heat well
  • Durable
  • Fire safe
  • Cooks food evenly

Sure, cast iron pans can be a little on the hefty side, but since you can cook nearly anything in them they can serve many purposes and eliminates the need to bring along 3-4 different pans.

4. Stainless Steel (and insulated) French Press

Do you need coffee in the morning to get through your day? If so, a French press is absolutely necessary on your next RV vacation. These handy little gadgets are easy to use, low tech, compact and will make you a great cup of coffee. But, before you rush out and buy the first one that you see, there are some things you must consider. For instance, glass isn’t practical on a road trip, so a stainless model is the best bet. Also, look for an insulated model to ensure that your third cup is just as satisfying as the first.

5. Camp Chairs

Camp chairs may seem unnecessary on your RV trip, but you couldn’t be more wrong. They allow you to enjoy the peacefulness of nature in comfort. The next time that you travel make sure to bring a couple of folding camp chairs with you. This ensures that you won’t have to resort to creating an uncomfortable makeshift chair. Plus, they don’t take up a lot of space and they’re relatively affordable.

6. Portable Solar Charger

There are many portable solar chargers on the market and they all work on the same principle. That is — they are devices that capture solar energy to help power our USB connected devices. They are a nifty way to keep our gadgets charged when away from traditional power sources. This will give you much needed flexibility, plus you won’t have to give up internet!

7. E-Reader

Some of us will never get used to reading books on electronic gadgets.  But the fact of the matter is that regular books take up a lot of space on an RV vacation. Smart decisions must be made to make things as comfortable as possible. Bringing an E-reader along for the ride allows you to have all your favorite books in one tiny gadget.
