Baja Travel Trailer by Jayco

At first glance the Baja appears to be a traditional, pop-up style camping trailer. But don’t be fooled. This isn’t your ordinary pop up camping trailer. With 13-inches of ground clearance, 15-inch off-road tires, and a heavy duty shock absorber suspension system, this trailer is designed to go where no pop-up trailer has gone before.

This 20′ long trailer is equipped with a three-way refrigerator, 3 burner stove, and microwave oven. It also includes a 30 gallon fresh water tank, 11 gallon grey water tank, and 5 gallon black water tank.

The Baja is considerably larger than your average pop-up trailer, and includes a self storing awning, and outdoor bike port with integrated ramp.

The last year Jayco made the Baja Trailer was 2006. They currently retail for between $8-12,000.

XTR Teardrop Travel Trailer by Moby1

This tiny trailer has been receiving a lot of attention lately…and for good reason. The teardrop trailer design is making a comeback, and the XTR just may be the best looking, off-road option out there.



The Moby1 XTR Teardrop Travel Trailer are all handcrafted, meaning most components are unavailable off the shelf. With all terrain tires, trailing A-arm coil spring suspension, and 3500 lb axles, this small power horse is built to travel any terrain with ease.

A second level roof tent adds extra living space to this go-anywhere teardrop trailer.

Inside the XTR you will be camping in style and comfort with a queen sized mattress and three storage cubbies, as well as speakers and LED lighting. A generously sized forward box provides more storage space, and several options, including the roof tent and free standing awning, provide even more living space.

The starting price for a 2015 Moby1 XTR Trailer is $18,500.

Horizon Travel Trailer by Adventure Trailers

The Horizon Travel Trailer can carry the same amount of cargo as an SUV cargo hold with the rear seats folded down. With adjustable suspension and beefy off-road tires, this is the perfect travel trailer for all you adventure seekers out there.

Inside, the trailer is equipped with three compartments consisting of one main cargo box and two side boxes. The storage space is large enough for a family of four.

The Horizon offers multiple options including…

  • A slide out kitchen that fits in one of the side boxes. The two burner stove, removable cutting board, and plenty of space for spices, cutlery and other kitchen essentials, makes this a great option for families or those who love to cook.
  • A 12 volt compressor fridge in the main compartment that can be moved to the tailgate for easy access.
  • A 6×6′ awning mounted above the kitchen to provide shade during the day, or shelter when it rains.

This maneuverable trailer is light weight and can be custom built to your specific needs. It features multiple hitch options and an adjustable hitch height.

The Base price for a Hoizon Trailer Trailer is around $6,000. Add all the options and it creeps upwards of $10,000.

Commander Travel Trailers by Conqueror Campers

This line of Australian made travel trailers utilize proprietary fully patented independent suspension with trailing arms and heavy duty shock absorbers for a go-anywhere, conquer anything, experience.

The Commander series features slide out units for the bathroom, kitchen, storage, and hot water. The sleeping quarters are inside the trailer, and several tent configurations can be set up to increase outdoor living space.

The commander camping trailer also comes with a large awning that completely covers the kitchen, as well as a large grocery cupboard and work surface. A hand basin and large shower room are located on the driver’s side of the caravan. The roomy interior boasts a dinette that can comfortably seat four and converts into a double bed.

Conquerer Campers does not currently distribute outside of Australia. 

Airstream Sport Model

Airstream Trailers are known for their iconic stream lined design and decades old tradition of quality and longevity. But did you also know they made a Sport model? 

This compact camping trailer is spacious and lightweight, but packed with all you need to live in luxury wherever you decide to spend the night. The Airstream Sport is available in 16′ or 22′ foot lengths. Both models can sleep between 2 to 4 people

While the Sport may not be the best trailer for off-roading, it’s still a worthy candidate for camping style can comfort while enjoying nature.

Both models include full bathrooms, a galley kitchen with three burner range, sink, 3-way fridge, a dinette, and full size rear bedroom. Tons of extra storage in the bedroom and living room make these trailers perfect for traveling families.

The Airstream Sport 16′ starts at $42,000 and the Sport 22′ starts around $50,000.
